1. How do I post an add ?

The steps are very basic & simple:

• If you want to post an add stating that you are looking to buy or rent a property then in the “TELL PEOPLE WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR” link, click on the province of interest (i.e In what province do you want to buy or rent a property).
• If you want to post an add stating that you are selling or renting out a property then in the “SELL A PROPERTY” or “RENT OUT A PROPERTY” link, click on the province of interest.
• Fill in all fields (only the e-mail & photo link are optional).
• Click on “Publish my add”

That is all that is required to post an ad.

 

2. Can I modify an ad after I have submitted it ?

Yes, given that you entered an email address when you created your ad, you can either modify it or even delete it. To do so, click on the "Modify Your Ad" link at the bottom of the homepage.

 

3. How long will the ad be posted ?

Once an ad is submitted it stays posted for 40 days, after which it will be automatically deleted. That way, you only see recent ads. The user who wishes to repost his add can do so as soon as the ad has been deleted. Once an ad has been deleted his/her owner will be notified about its deletion.

 

4. Are there any service fees ?

No, there are absolutely no fees whatsoever. The service is completely free.

 

5. How do I use the advanced search option ?

The advanced search option is used if you are looking to buy or rent real estate in specific locations and within a specific price range. You just fill in all the required fields (location can include a city or/and area) and click search and the results matching your requirements will be shown.

 

6. Does a location search just include cities ?

Yes, in location search one should type the city he is looking for. If one is looking by province, then just click on the provincial link in the desired section. The location search can also include a specific area within a city, given that ad owners have included the area name in the City field.

 

7. If I decide to enter my e-mail when posting an add, will it be posted or will it be divulged to private companies (which would lead to SPAM) ?

No, the e-mail, will not be shown on the posted ad. We guarantee the complete confidentiality of the e-mails given, as people cannot see your email address anywhere in the website. You can only be contacted either by phone or through a special contact form on our site.

 

8. Can I post a picture of a property I wish to rent out or sell ?

Yes, but not directly. You cannot directly post the picture of a property, but you can include a link to a picture of the property, if you have one available (eg.http://www.geocities.com/mysite/house.jpg).

10. This site is great, can I advertise on it ?

Sure. We accept two forms of advertising:

Firstly, we accept reprocical links, which means that we can put a link to your site given that there is a link to our site on yours. Just email us with the details of the location of your link to our site and we will put a link to yours.

Secondly, you could advertise on our site in the form of a banner advertisement. Acceptable banner size is 468x60 pixels. Banners remain online for a number of 40-day periods. After than period your banner ad will be automatically deleted unless renewed. However, you may advertise for multiple periods of 40days. 11. When I use the site I get the error message: "The parameter is incorrect."
